Harmony Singing Day

This workshop is all about creating a relaxed and welcoming space to explore your voice, nourish your spirit, and connect with others through song.

During the session, we will:

Warm up our bodies and our voices.
Learn and sing simple rounds, call-and-response songs, and rich harmonies in a variety of different languages and traditions from all over the world.

Chairs will be provided, however if you are comfortable sitting on the floor please bring cushions etc to make yourself comfortable.

No previous singing experience is needed, as all songs taught by ear.

Please bring a potluck lunch to share. Kitchen facilities are available with a kettle, toaster and hob.

Getting to Rectory Place

Hoton is a 10 minute drive from Loughborough (including the station) and 25 minute drive from Nottingham.

It is located on the A60 between Loughborough (approx 3.5 miles) and Nottingham, with regular bus services from Loughborough and Melton Mowbray.

If you are driving from Barro, travel out of the village on the Nottingham Road for approximately 3 miles. Go past Prestwold Hall and the entrance to the Driving Experience site and then turn right onto Old Parsonage Lane. Rectory Place is located on the right, just before the bend.
